SynopsisEdit

While on a mission, DiNozzo is captured by a terrorist who seeks revenge against both NCIS and Mossad. In the meantime, Gibbs and McGee plan a rescue attempt but not everything is what it seems....

Major EventsEdit

• Several months are revealed to have passed since Gibbs left Ziva behind in Israel.
• Tony and McGee begin interviewing possible replacements for Ziva but none of them seem to either last long or match up to Gibbs's expectations.
• Tony and McGee later head to Northern Africa which is Ziva's last known location but are quickly captured by the terrorist Saleem Ulman who is seeking revenge against both NCIS and Mossad for killing many of his men.
• Saleem then injects Tony with a truth serum and begins questioning him on the agency and what his purpose for coming to Northern Africa is.
• In a flashback, Gibbs tells McGee, DiNozzo and Abby that the ship Ziva was on disappeared months ago and she is now missing, presumed dead.
• Tony later tells Saleem that NCIS was able to track him down due to his shipment of Caf-Pow.
• It is soon revealed that Ziva is actually alive, having been held prisoner by Saleem for several months.
• Saleem is then shot dead by Gibbs who is shown to be in hiding on top of a hill and this allows DiNozzo and McGee to escape with Ziva.
• The team then return to NCIS Headquarters where everyone greets them with applause.
• Abby is shown to have gotten a new tattoo of a flower on her upper back.
