Status Update is the eighteenth episode of NCIS Season Twelve and also the 276th episode of the entire NCIS series.

NCIS investigate when the body of a woman who is later revealed to be a criminal is discovered in the garage of a home of a Gunnery Sergeant with the United States Marine Corps with the NCIS team soon discovering that a possible connection to a terrorist group that the Department of Defense have been tracking, bringing the team back into contact with Delilah Fielding, McGee's girlfriend.

As Kari Kimmel- Best Day plays on the stereo, a lone SUV enters the garage.

The driver, Mallory Bleeker then shuts down the engine altogether and gets out, grabbing her belongings.

As she does that, her cell phone rings.

Frustrated, Bleeker then dumps her jacket onto the seat before answering the phone.

She tells the caller that she's got everything they needed and that she'll know what she has for them, soon enough.

Behind her, a lone man sneaks into the garage, unnoticed.

Bleeker states that's exactly what the guy at the hardware store asked and that they're both chauvinist pigs, implying that the caller she's talking to is a man.

She then tells the other guy that she guarantees that she's better with power tools than any other man.

Bleeker then drops the keys.

As she bends down to pick them, the same mysterious man edges closer.

Bleeker then remarks that that's gross and that's not what she meant, although it does prove her pig thesis.

As she says this, she slams the door shut, preparing to enter the house.

Bleeker then hits a few buttons with the garage door shutting.

As the same man approaches her, Bleeker states that they can discuss the finer points of sexism later and that's what she said before Bleeker hangs up.

It then cuts to a shot of the house with the door as Bleeker's screams are heard through the neighborhood as the mysterious man in the garage finds her and kills her.
