Synopsis

The team investigate the disappearance and possible kidnapping of a Navy Lieutenant, who also happens to be a computer specialist. They discover that the Lieutenant was using her expert knowledge to profile potential husbands at a speed-dating event. The team then infiltrate the speed dating seminar that the kidnapping victim attended in hopes of finding out who kidnapped the Lt. and they soon discover that something much bigger is being planned...

- Director Shepard offers Tony his own team in Rota, Spain but he turns down the offer, choosing to remain in Gibbs's team instead.
- It's revealed that Tony and Jenny know each other by their first names.
- McGee reveals that Agent Michelle Lee has been reassigned to the Legal Department.
- It's shown that McGee has stopped wearing ties altogether.
- It's stated that Gibbs has been an NCIS agent for almost 16 years and that he's called Probie by his former partner, Mike Franks.

- Misha Collins who guest stars in this episode as Justin Ferris would later go on to star in Supernatural as the angel Castiel, a role that sees him working with Jensen Ackles who worked with NCIS regular Michael Weatherly on the TV show, Dark Angel.
- Starting from this episode onwards, the show begins using a different style of font, replacing the original one that had been in use since the debut episode, Yankee White (episode).
