Ritt Everett was the owner of the service station in Smokey Corners, West Virginia and also the one responsible for the death of Captain Todd Newell's brother, Greg.

He was also hinted to have been physically abusive towards his daughter, Daphne who happened to be pregnant with Greg's baby.

As such, he was eventually arrested and presumably jailed.
