Nadia Harcourt was a young girl who was also a member of the class that Kody Meyers was in. She also suffered from asthma which was triggered when Kody took the class hostage.

Eventually, Nadia's classmate, Stephanie Phillips was let go so that she could go get the inhaler Nadia needed.

However, NCIS Special Agent in charge of the Major Case Response Team, Leroy Jethro Gibbs later went in Stephanie's place and as such, became a hostage, forcing Anthony DiNozzo, Gibbs's second-in-command to step up to the plate and take control of the team while finding a way to stop the hostage situation.
