Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs is a former marine sniper and now head of the NCIS Major Case Response Team in the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, D.C.
Gibbs joined NCIS as a Junior Agent and was known by his boss as "probie" (his former boss still calls him this). Special Agent Anthony "Tony" DiNozzo is the Senior Agent on Gibbs' team. He was a homicide detective before he was part of NCIS. DiNozzo has a bad record with women and is a lover of movies. He quotes them and names characters that are somehow involved with the case. Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo is a streetwise former homicide detective. He is well known for his constant flirtation with nearly every woman he encounters. He has an expensive taste in clothing evidenced by his love for designer names. Tim "Probie" McGee is a Junior Agent working on Special Agent Gibbs' team. He first appears in the episode Sub Rosa.
McGee is an author of the Deep Six series. He is normally the target of DiNozzo's jokes. He knows a lot about computers which he often works with Abby.
Hir relationship with DiNozzo has jokes going both ways, but with McGee receiving most of them. He has a strong friendship with Abby. His relationship with Ziva is also a friendly one, but not as strong as with Abby. With Gibbs, his relationship isn't as strong.
