Maxine Edwards is a woman who was also Special Agent Timothy McGee's ex-girlfriend.

They originally had a lot in common, like their addiction to video games and their love of computers. Max's nickname in online games is 'Max Destructo', and it was revealed that she scored the highest score in almost all of the online MMORPGs.

At first McGee refused to follow her into her apartment because he didn't want to get attracted to her. Maxine told him that he wasn't her type at all, and McGee eventually agreed to come into her apartment. McGee was impressed with Maxine's computer and they talked about computers for several minutes before Maxine finally admitted that McGee was her type. Blake tried to kill Maxine, but McGee saved Maxine's life.

The two of them began dating after Anthony DiNozzo set them up on a date. In the end of the episode Kill Screen, McGee thanked DiNozzo for setting them up on a date.

Unfortunately, their relationship didn't last long as during A Desperate Man (episode), McGee revealed that he and Maxine had split up ten months ago.
