Kelly Gibbs was Leroy Jethro Gibbs' daughter. Her best friend was Maddie Tyler. She and her mother Shannon were killed in a car accident when the NIS agent who was protecting them was shot as he drove them somewhere. Gibbs tracked down the murderer and killed him.
