Brian Dietzen (born November 14, 1977) is an American actor who has played the supporting role of NCIS Medical Examiner assistant James Palmer on NCIS since 2004 with Dietzen being credited as a recurring guest star from his debut appearance in the Season 1 episode, Split Decision (episode) up until the NCIS Season 5 finale episode, Judgment Day Part 2 (episode).
In the NCIS Season 6 premiere episode, Last Man Standing (episode) up until the Season 9 finale episode, Till Death Do Us Part (episode), Dietzen was given the credit of "Also Starring".
In 2012, having been with the show for ten years, Dietzen was finally promoted to season regular at the beginning of the show's tenth season and also added to the opening credits.
