Arlington National Cemetery is a cemetery in Arlington County, Virginia located across the Potomac River from Washington D.C.
It is also where the veterans of the United States military who have died fighting in various wars around the decades are buried with the tradition beginning when those who had died in the Civil War were buried at the cemetery.
