Andre Jones was an associate of René Benoit aka "La Grenouille" who NCIS Director Jennifer Shepard sought as she believed Jones was a primary suspect in killing her informant, Troy Webster.

The Major Case Response Team led by Jenny's former lover and partner, Leroy Jethro Gibbs attempted to arrest Jones but Jones wouldn't go down so easily and when he sought to grab a weapon to defend himself, Agent Timothy McGee was forced to shoot him in self-defence, killing Jones instantly.
