Aliyah, is the twenty-fifth and final episode in Season Six of NCIS. The episode is the 138th episode of NCIS excluding the two introductory episodes presented during the eighth season of JAG.

SynopsisEdit

In the aftermath of Tony and Rivkin's fight which ends with Rivkin later dying from the injuries he sustained despite Ziva's best efforts to save him, Gibbs, DiNozzo, Ziva and Vance are later summoned to Israel at the request of Ziva's father and the Director of Mossad, Eli David who demands answers in regards to the events that led to Rivkin's death while Gibbs later makes a decision that threatens to change the structure of the team forever...

Despite Ziva's efforts to stop the bleeding, Rivkin later died in hospital and his body was brought back to Israel for burial.
Eli David	Michael Nouri	Director of Mossad and Ziva's father. Only other person besides Ziva who can issue a "kill" order. He authorized Rivkin's actions and also asked director Vance to send Ziva, Tony and Gibbs to Tel Aviv so that he could get some answers regarding Rivkin's death.

Major EventsEdit

• Despite Ziva trying to help him, Michael Rivkin eventually dies from his injuries while Tony survives with a broken arm and reveals that he shot Rivkin in self-defense.
• A blood test later reveals that Rivkin was actually drunk at the time of his fight with Tony.
• Gibbs, DiNozzo, Vance and Ziva fly to Israel where they meet the Director of Mossad and Ziva's father, Eli David.
• Mossad Officer Amit Hadar is introduced for the first time.
• Ziva reveals that she and her father are the only ones who can give orders to harm other people if necessary.
• It's shown that Eli and Vance have a close friendship and also that Eli sees Ziva more as a Mossad agent than a daughter.
• Ziva tells Gibbs she can't work on a team where she doesn't trust the people on it so Gibbs eventually chooses to leave her behind in Israel.
• Vance reveals that due to Ari being out of control, Eli David ordered Ziva to kill him which resulted in Ziva gaining Gibbs's trust but also Ari dying in the process.
• It's revealed that four years have passed since the events in Kill Ari Part 2 (episode).
• It is later revealed that Ziva has been captured and tortured by Saleem Ulman who demands information on NCIS.

TriviaEdit

• The song playing when the NCIS team arrive in Tel Aviv is "Fear" by Stop Making Friends with Pauley Perette who plays Abby Scuito on the show providing lead vocals.
• The episode's title, "Aliyah" is a term used to describe the immigration of Jews to the Land of Israel (Eretz Yisrael).
